One Good Tutorial at HPC Best Practices Webinar: Slides

On Wednesday I’m going to present my scientific software documentation project, One Good Tutorial, as part of the IDEAS HPC Best Practices webinar series. It’ll take place at 1 PM US Eastern time. Register to attend if you’re able to watch it live, but you can always watch a recording later if you’re not. My slides are attached to this post.

Here are the slides if you want to check them out.

I can say that as I’ve been polishing and promoting the project, I’ve focused more and more on the idea of a “minimum viable documentation product”. I think it really captures the core idea that One Good Tutorial is trying to convey, and hopefully it anchors that idea in a context that a lot of people are familiar with. There is a bit of potential acronym confusion, though.

The work described in this post was supported by a Better Scientific Software Fellowship.
